A Nordic trio of 2 SMEs and one publicly funded R&D organisation has announced a binding agrement under funding from the Eurostars programme to develop salmon roe extract for wound healing. The three partners,  SP Technical Institute of Sweden, Medibiome AB, Sweden and Regenics AS, Norway (lead) has today signed an agreement to collaborate to develop a wound healing medical device for CE- marking submission 3q 2018.

Project lead Henrik Lund says: "Its a job well done to achieve Eurostars funding in competition with several hundred SMEs for this interresting project. We are happy to join up complementary competence in a Nordic trio of excellence in our consortium to achieve a regulatory submission of a medical device based on stem cell research on Norwegian salmon roe."

Regenics AS has developed a number of assays and techniques to study effects of various substances on skin cells both in vitroin vivo and in the clinic. Our focus is to develop products and techniques for therapeutic skin applications and to improve skin appearance.
